Pumpkin Fluff Dip

  • Author: Emily Rhodes
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

Pumpkin Fluff Dip is a creamy, pumpkin-spiced dessert dip that comes together in just five minutes. It’s perfect for fall parties, gatherings, or as a quick sweet treat, delivering classic pumpkin pie flavor without any baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix (sugar-free optional)
  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed, regular or dairy-free)
  • 12 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional, adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Measure out all ingredients: pumpkin puree, instant vanilla pudding mix, whipped topping, pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and brown sugar (if using).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree and instant vanilla pudding mix. Blend with an electric mixer or whisk until smooth and evenly colored.
  3. Sprinkle in pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and brown sugar (if using). Mix again to blend everything evenly. Taste and adjust spices or sweetness as desired.
  4. Add the thawed whipped topping. Gently fold with a spatula until just combined and fluffy. Do not overmix.
  5. Optional: Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes for a firmer dip.
  6. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl. Sprinkle extra pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top for garnish. Serve chilled with dippers like graham crackers, apple slices, vanilla wafers, pretzels, or gingersnaps.

Notes

For best texture, use cold, thawed whipped topping and pure pumpkin puree. Adjust spices to taste. Chill for 30 minutes for a firmer dip. Easily adapted for gluten-free or dairy-free diets by swapping dippers and whipped topping. If dip is too runny, add more pudding mix or chill longer. Make ahead for deeper flavor.
